Artist Statement
To portray the loudness and anti-realism that had been so desired after years of drawing still lives and realistic portraits, I gave focal characters in this piece very alternative clothing and fashion styles from the rest and being as proud as they can be. This is my way of showing that straying from the norm or experimenting with creativity and expression is a beautiful thing to do.

Role
Artist and Compositor
Problem
After spending my whole life believing I had to do realism to make it as an artist, I wanted to expand my horizons and style so that I could accomplish more. Around this time, loud vibrant and loud colors, also known as  "hyper pop" around art communities pulled me in as I had been interested in the style that was so far off realism and portrayed creativity and color theory like no other.
Solution
In an attempt to explore and experiment with different styles and colors, an illustration was made to show capabilities and demonstrate an understanding of color theory. In addition, the composition and piece theme were made in accordance with what hyperpop can mean to most viewers and myself; a vibrant, unfiltered representation of expression.
